Ronald Koeman who is the gaffer of Spanish giants Barcelona has expressed serious concern over the future of captain Lionel Messi following their defeat against Celta Viga in League game.
With one game to the end of the 2020/21 Spanish La Liga season, Barcelona are currently out of the championship as the League winner will be between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
Lionel Messi and his teammates went into the game against Celta Vigo with the hope of getting the maximum three points so as to help them keep their title hopes alive.

But that was not enough for Barcelona as the visitors came back from behind to win the battle with Santi Mina netting twice at the Camp Nou.
According to the report on Express UK, Ronald Koeman explained that he is now hopping that Lionel Messi would agree to stay this summer.
“We hope he will not leave because he is still the best player in the world and he has shown today. It is impossible to play without him.
“He has already scored 30 goals this season, which have given the team a lot of points. It is a question for Leo to decide.
“For me and for the team, we hope he stays because if don’t have him, we have doubts about who will score so many goals.''
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Santi Mina's brace was all Celta Vigo needed to sink Barcelona in their penultimate Spanish League game of the season.
This means that Ronald Koeman's men have lost out of the title race which will be decided between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid on the last day.
Lionel Messi opened the scoring for the Catalans with a stunning header two minutes before the half-hour mark after connecting with Sergio Busquets' delivery in the 18-yard box.
However, the home team could not hold on to the lead beyond the 38th minute with Mina firing an unstoppable shot from the arc into the bottom left corner of the post. And that was how the first half ended for both teams.
