Popular Nigerian gospel musician, Lanre Teriba, has taken to social media to celebrate his dear friend, Sunday Apoti, who recently gifted him a Lexus ride.

The singer who turned a year older on May 13, was gifted the luxury new car in honour of his new age.

Teriba shared several photos with Apoti and called on his followers to celebrate his friend for the gift of a new car.

He wrote:

"Please help me thank my good friend Sunday Apoti who gave me a Lexus Jeep for my birthday."

Teriba has every reason to thank God for a new year as in March 2020, the singer popularly known as Atorise was attacked by unknown gunmen.

According to The Nation, the armed men were suspected to be kidnappers.

It was reported that the singer was returning from a function on Saturday, March 7, 2020, when he was attacked. The incident happened at the Berger end of the Lagos/ Ibadan expressway.
