His story found its way to social media and help came his way, courtesy of @MTforChange. Nworie was given a scholarship for his PhD in the United States.

2. Dancing in the rain gets Anthony Mmesoma Madu a scholarship

A ballet dancer identified as Anthony Mmesoma Madu got a shower of blessing after he was captured dancing in the rain.

Luck smiled on the young boy after his ballet dance video went viral on social media. Fade Ogunro gave the young boy a scholarship up to the university level.

The boy was also given a scholarship to the American Ballet Theatre.

3. Laundrywoman builds her own house

A Nigerian laundrywoman with the Twitter handle, @sparklesNmore, lit up social media with her success story after building her own house.

The woman disclosed that it took her five years to complete the house. Many people were inspired by the woman's achievement and her post went viral.

4. Maniru Ibrahim gets €20 million scholarship fund in Ireland

It was a celebration galore on social media after a young Nigerian man, Maniru Ibrahim, got a scholarship worth €20 million (N9,900,039,566 as per the current exchange rate) for his PhD.

Ibrahim is a first-class graduate of mathematics from Usman Danfodiyo University. The scholarship is funded by the Science Foundation Ireland Centre for Research Training in the Foundation of Data Science.

5. From being a street hawker in Nigeria to winning American visa lottery

A Nigerian man simply identified as Wale inspired people on social media after disclosing that he was a street hawker in the country before leaving for the United States.

According to Wale, he won the American visa lottery and his life changed for the better. He said he would still be hawking in Badagry, Okoko, and Ojo if not for the visa lottery.

6. Idris moves from security post to a bigger position

A Nigerian man simply identified as Idris was a security guard at a bank before luck smiled on him, courtesy of one Ayomide Babalola.

Idris approached Babalola to inform him that he was qualified for a vacant position at the bank and he was given the opportunity to apply for it.

He passed the aptitude test and he received his offer letter some days after.

Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian man with the Twitter handle @MRBRIKILA1 recounted how his life changed for better when he left the country for Canada.

The man said he wrote IELTS three times before he achieved the required score, adding that he passed the nursing exam at the first sitting.
