He said:

"It is criminal to deny anybody's rights. If anybody is arrested of anything that is a bailable offence, the person deserves to be granted bail. We don't want it again in our country where any police officer will be holding citizens against their rights. It can be done to your son, father, brother, and friend. Police officers should not hold anybody against their rights."

"Where are the Instagram commenters? I thought the protest ground should b full by now with all the comments I see here . Bunch of fools with your rented 4 men. If you want to do it right, do it solely by protesting for other detainees that have been in jail/cell for years without a court hearing and not just baba ijesha alone but until then I take it that he’s your mentor."

In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that Yomi Fabiyi said Baba Ijesha denied the allegation against him.

In a series of videos on Instagram, Fabiyi disclosed that he had a meeting with Baba Ijesha just to know his side of the story.

The actor said that he will never support what Baba Ijesha did, but he deserves support regardless which he gave as a human rights activist.
