A young Nigerian lady with the Twitter handle, @mitaisme, has celebrated herself for becoming a citizen of Canada.
Taking to her social media page, the lady said that she cannot wait to share her new passport with people as well as her right to vote in Canada.
@mitaisme said God made putting up with the winter worth it at last, as she added that she feels so emotional.
Some Nigerians and her friends took to her comment section to celebrate her. A tweep said that the God that did hers will also answer his prayers.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian man identified as Ikeoluwa took to social media to celebrate his achievements after becoming a British citizen and getting engaged to the love of his life.
Ikeoluwa with the Twitter handle @__tunde got people on the social media platform talking as congratulatory messages poured in for him.
The young man shared two snaps on Twitter. In one of the images, he could be seen with his citizenship certificate as he posed very close to a framed picture of the Queen.
