For failing to inspire the Old Lady past AC Milan in the Serie A over the weekend, Italian press Gazzetta dello Sport has rated Cristiano Ronaldo low for his performance in the fixture.

Italian Serie A side Juventus are set to make a huge decision over the future of their manager, Andrea Pirlo after the club suffered a relatively poor season.

Andrea Pirlo’s men were condemned to a 3-0 defeat at the Allianz Stadium by AC Milan as their race to finish in the Champions League position suffers a major setback.

A goal each from Brahim Diaz, Ante Rebic, and Fikayo Tomori handed the visitors their first win over the Old Lady in Turin since March 2011.

The result could spell disaster for the ousted Champions who are now out of the Champions League qualification spot.

It has left Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport with no choice but to rate the striker low with four over ten.

The newspaper added via SunSport:

"He wandered a lot around the field without ever finding the position. The most disappointing performance in the most important night.
"Physically he's not in his prime, Cristiano. Ronaldo has a supporting cast of objectively different value than others he has had in his career.
"But leadership is expected of the leader. In the most important game, he went missing.
"If Juventus miss out on the Champions League, an evening like this will weigh on him like a boulder."

Ronaldo could depart Italian club Juventus at the end of the season according to reports.

It was gathered that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has become very distant from his teammates and no longer exhibits that fighting spirit he is famous for.

Ronaldo still has one more year left on his mammoth contract with Juve and there are interests from Manchester City, PSG and his former club Manchester United.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo is such a phenomenon as anything he touches becomes a style. The Juventus star was spotted wearing a dazzling yellow diamond engagement ring.

The 36-year-old was a panellist at the Dubai International Sports Conference and he was seen wearing accessories valued at around N333 million at the event.

The engagement ring encircled by a halo of white diamonds at N106 million (£200,000) and he also wore a set of a diamond-encrusted band which has been valued at N26m (£50,000).
