Kidnappers Cleared Over the Disappearance of Miyetti Allah Chairman in Kogi

Kidnappers have come out as innocent in an abduction case. According to the report, the supposed victim, who is the chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Kogi state, Wakili Damina, was arrested not abducted.
Channels TV reports that the development was disclosed by Adamu Abubakar, who is the secretary of the association.
The chairman was recently declared abducted but returned home on Friday, May 7.
Abubakar claimed that Damina was picked up from his house by some men in military uniform without explanation.
However, the national body of the association has demanded a thorough investigation to ascertain why the branch chairman was whisked away in such a manner.
In another report, suspected bandits ended the lives of two chairmen of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in Nasarawa state.
The deceased, Alhaji Mohammed Hussain and his counterpart in Toto local government area, Mohammed Umar, were murdered during an attack on Friday night, April 2, in Garaku, Kokona LGA.
The Nasarawa police public relations officer, ASP Ramham Nansel said the command got information about the unfortunate attack at about 7pm.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Hajiya Aisha Bello Matawalle, the First Lady of Zamfara, secured appointments of special assistants to the governor for 20 members of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in the state.
The First Lady’s spokesperson, Zainab Abdullahi, revealed this in a statement on Tuesday, April 13.
Legit.ng gathered that while speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, the state chairman of MACBAN, Tukur Abubakar, lauded the First Lady for her efforts in making meaningful change to Fulanis and other members of the community.
The First Lady, while presenting the appointment letters to the beneficiaries in Gusau on Tuesday, April 13, congratulated the appointees and assured them of a sustainable working relationship with the Miyetti Allah group in promoting peace and unity in the state.
