With 10 and 12 Goals Respectively, 2 Super Eagles Stars Are Top Scorers in Europe’s Top-5 Leagues Since March

Super Eagles forwards Kelechi Iheanacho and Simeon have continued to score goals for their respective clubs abroad since the turn of this year.
Since March, both strikers have reached double figures of goals with Iheanacho netting 10 goals for Premier League club Leicester City in all competitions since March.
Simeone Nwankwo who has been impressive for Italian side Crotone this season has scored a staggering 12 goals since March this year making him the top scorer in the whole of Europe since the month.
Iheanacho maintained his prolific goals scoring form after scoring in Leicester City's 4-2 defeat to Newcastle United at the King Power Stadium on Friday, May 7.
He has also been nominated for both Premier League player of the month as well as the goal of the month awards.
The Nigerian international who was Premier League’s player for the month of April sustained the performance that has seen him nominated for the same award for April.
On the other hand, Simeon Nwankwo and his side Crotone have been relegated to the second division after suffering a 2-0 loss to Serie A leaders Inter Milan.
The team had only gained promotion from Serie B last season but will return to the second-tier of the Italian division.
Simy Nwankwo has so far scored 19 Serie A goals this season and 12 of them were registered in the month of March and April.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that former coach at Belgian side Sporting Charleroi, Mario Notaro, has stated that he is confident that Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, will become a top player in the world.
Notaro who managed Osimhen at Charleroi in 2019, in a chat with Radio Kiss Kiss via Complete Sports, disclosed that the Nigerian youngster has an incredible quality beyond his age.
Osimhen grabbed his eighth goal of the season following Napoli’s 1-1 draw with Cagliari in the Serie A on Sunday, May 2 at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
The former Lille of France striker who struggled at the start of the season is beginning to make an impact for his side after he was handed his 12th start in the Italian topflight.
