One of Pastor Enoch Adeboye's sons, Leke Adeboye, has penned a tribute to his late brother, Dare Adeboye.

In an Instagram post, Leke said his brother's fist was still clenched as if he was holding a microphone.

Leke, who will be celebrating his birthday on May 20, said Pastor Dare would have sent him a cash gift as a little brother and he would have done the same thing on June 9, the deceased's birthday.

Leke's tribute read in part:

"Your fist was still clenched like you were holding a mic. But this time with your eyes closed and smiling. It's my birthday on May 20.

Leke said despite his brother's death, he will still send him a birthday gift. He appreciated the late pastor for being his brother and for all the experiences they shared together.

Legit.ng previously reported that Leke Adeboye reacted to the death of his elder brother, Pastor Dare Adeboye, as news about the incident trended on Nigerian social media space.

Pastor Dare died in his sleep on Wednesday, May 5, in Eket, Akwa Ibom state.

In a post on Facebook on Thursday, May 6, Leke quoted a bible verse that suggested that righteous people are taken away to be spared from disaster and evil.
