Popular Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, recently took to her Instagram page with joy to announce that she met with ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo.
The film star shared a couple of photos she took with him and dedicated her caption to speaking highly of him.

She described Obasanjo as a great leader and noted that she learned a lot from his humility.

Bakare also revealed that she commanded the ex-president to take off his nose mask, to which he promptly agreed.
In her words:
"Leadership is about making others better as a result of your presence and making sure your impact lasts in your absence, Nigeria ex-president Baba OBASANJO Is indeed a leader. guys can you believe I commanded him to take off his mask and he did immediately. Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Laide Bakare posted a flier that had her photo and indicated that she had been conferred a title by a Muslim prayer ministry.
The title, translated in English as leader of Islamic affairs, was given to her in recognition of her contribution towards the participation and development of Islam, humanity, and most importantly the ministry itself.
The announcement was greeted with mixed reactions, while some people congratulated the actress, others dropped questions and comments.
