Insecurity: Pastor Adeboye Tells Nigerians What to do Amid Incessant Killings

Amid the killings in Nigeria, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, said that God will heal the country.

The man of God who made this known in a tweet sighted by Legit.ng on Wednesday, April 28, urged Nigerians of all tribes to pray for the country and the rest of the world.

He went on to ask that God should have mercy on Nigeria amid these difficult times

The prominent cleric's statement is coming on the heels of multiple attacks and killings reported across the country.

Recall that an attack on police and military checkpoints had been recorded again in Nigeria.

Gunmen attacked the checkpoints along the Owerri-Port Harcourt Road in Ikwerre local government area, Rivers state.

They launched the attacks around 8 pm on Saturday, April 24. Four policemen and two soldiers were killed in the attack.

Similarly, an armed gang on Monday, April 26, killed about five soldiers in Omelema community in the Abia Local government area of Rivers state.

The gunmen who came from a river marched straight to a military lodge in the area and opened fire on soldiers, killing about two of them immediately.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Pastor Adeboye said Nigeria will soon be victorious against insecurity.

He said this when he paid a courtesy call on Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state at the Government House.

Adeboye who told the governor that the problem is beyond him disclosed he was praying for the state and Nigeria at large.

In another report, the RCCG general overseer is not relenting in his consistent prayers for Nigeria.

The respected pastor and his members worldwide engaged in prayer and fasting for 63 days.

On Thursday, February 25, Pastor Adeboye canvassed specific prayers against ritualists and kidnappers in Nigeria.
