One of Nigeria’s top female musicians, Yemi Alade, has also lent her voice to the ongoing unrest in the country via her social media page.
Taking to Twitter, the self-styled Mama Africa spoke on how Nigerians seemed to have become used to bad things.
According to her, the kidnaps and deaths going on in the country had become normal news for people in the country. She added that citizens have now become people who manage an open madhouse.

In another post, the music star questioned the commander of the armed forces. She asked what forces they were commanding.
In a final note on her Instagram page, Alade shared a photo from the set of her video shoot. In the snap, she was carrying a little boy.
The singer said that the child’s reaction during the shoot gave her hope. She also went ahead to pray for Nigeria not to fail the baby the way it had failed others.
