2023: Pastor Adeboye Speaks on Governor Emmanuel’s Successor

- While in the state, Pastor Adeboye prayed for the state and made comments about the possible successor of Governor Udom Emmanuel

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has prayed for Governor Udom Emmanuel's successor.
The respected pastor specifically asked God to give Akwa Ibom a governor in 2023 that will continue with the prevailing peace and development of the state and take it to greater heights.
This came minutes after Pastor Adeboye who arrived the state on Saturday, April 24 finished from a Sunday Service he held at the Discovery Park in Uyo, the state capital which was attended by a mammoth crowd.

The RCCG General Overseer is the south-south state as part of weekend pastoral activities which has taken him to various states in recent times.
His words:
“May God grant the governor and the state a good successor who will continue with the good works the governor has been doing; who will not disrupt those good works.
“I pray that God should show through divine revelations to your son who the successor will be.”
Legit.ng had earlier reported that Pastor Adeboye recently visited Enugu where he hailed the state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his gestures towards the RCCG.
Pastor Adeboye said he had a pleasant experience in the state, while also commending the governor for the hospitality extended to him during his visit on Sunday, April 18.
Meanwhile, during his visit to Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti on Saturday, April 17, Pastor Adeboye said it is sad and disheartening that criminals do not have regard for traditional institutions anymore.
The renowned Christian cleric admitted that the country is now in a war it cannot win by ammunition and human wisdom.
