Jose Mourinho is understood to have met with Tottenham players after he was relieved of his duties as manager of the north London club, Daily Mail.
According to The Telegraph, after holding a two-hour showdown with the club's management, the 58-year-old also had a four-hour talk with Spurs players before he finally left the premises.
The Special One was believed to have been ready to hold a training session with the players before the unexpected happened.

During his 17-month spell in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Mourinho fell out with players like England internationals Danny Rose and Dele Alli.
At one point in time, the Portuguese gaffer had issues with French midfielder Touquay Ndombele who was linked with a move out of the London club in the process.
Former Spurs star Ryan Mason took charge in his first game as Spurs game in the 2-1 win over Southampton.
The caretaker boss gave Gareth Bale a starting shirt and it paid off as the Lily Whites came from a goal down to defeat the Saints by 2-1 at their home ground with the Welshman scoring one of the goals.
Spurs will be aiming for their first trophy in many years when they take on Man City in the Carabao Cup final.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Jose Mourinho's sacking as Tottenham boss has not gone well with some sections of fans who believed the Portuguese boss still has what it takes.
The Special One took over from Mauricio Pochettino and have only managed to keep them in seventh position in the Premier League.
It is understood the former Chelsea boss was told Spurs want to be involved with the Super League.
The Lily Whites had difficult times coping with the Europa League at the round-rubbing stages which Mourinho raised concerns about the congestion for his players.
