A dog owner has caused commotion on social media with the acts his pet displayed, showcasing that pets can also understand local languages.

In a video shared on Twitter by @KingMujiib, the unidentified man communicated series of directives to the dog which it responded to without erring.

He first commanded the rottweiler to sit, and it did sit. He followed it up with a directive for the dog to be up standing, to which it obliged.

Other commands he barked included to speak up and step back were heeded to by the domestic animal.

The clip, had already amassed more than 200k views with over 8k tweet likes. Nigerians found the display amazing with some wondering if it had been a human in its past life. One tweep enquired if the dog will be able to pick the Igbo language.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a little girl and a dog had gone viral after they gave an amazing performance.

In the clip that has been watched over two million times, the girl and her pet were in sync as they showed off some creative gymnastic moves. The canine beauty also seemed to understand every of the girl's commands as it responded well to all her hand signs.

In some instances, the dog followed the girl's move in a smooth choreographic show. You would love to own a dog after watching the duo do their thing. One of the cutest moments was when the pet jumped over the girl's legs as she stood on her head while maintaining a slight V shape.
