Juventus who are reigning Italian champions on Wednesday night, April 21, came back from a goal down to beat visiting Parma 3-1 at the Turin stadium in a match that Cristiano Ronaldo failed to score.
Parma gave Pirlo and his wards a good fight in the encounter scoring the first goal before they conceded three later on for Juventus to win the Serie A duel.
Gaston Brugman scored the opener for Parma in the 26th minute via a superb free-kick which beat the wall formed by Cristiano Ronaldo and three other teammates.
In fact, Cristiano Ronaldo did not jump well the way other players did and had to cover his face allowing the ball to sail over him.
Legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon tried his best to save the ball from going into the net, but the Italian was helpless.
Juventus made sure they restored parity before the end of the first half through Alex Sandro who got a brilliant assist from Matthijs de Ligt.
Juan Cuadrado provided a good assist in the 47th minute which helped Alex Sandro to score his second goal against Parma.
The visitors changed their style of play after conceding two goals against Juventus and they almost scored in the 50th minute as Jasmin Kurtic missed the chance.
Cuadrado supplied another awesome assist in the 68th minute which helped Matthijs de Ligt to score the third goal for Juventus and the match ended 3-1 in favour of the Old Lady.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Cristiano Ronaldo was involved in a row with some of his teammates after Juventus recorded a 3-1 win over Genoa at the Allianz Stadium.
The Serie A champions had three different scorers including Dejan Kulusevski, Alvaro Morata and Weston McKennie but Ronaldo could not find the back of the net.
And reports from Italy claim the Portuguese superstar was livid with his teammates for failing to pass the ball to him.
Italian outfit Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that the 36-year-old was not happy with his teammates' due to their selfishness in the game.
