Argentina international Sergio Aguero who is on the verge of leaving Premier League side Manchester City has reportedly gotten a draft of contract from Barcelona chiefs.
Since he announced that he will be leaving Manchester City this summer, Barcelona chiefs are said to have been tracking the striker with the intention of luring him to the Camp Nou.
Sergio Aguero on the other hand is said to be happy with the possibility of him making a move to Barcelona where he will get the chance to play with Lionel Messi.
For years, Sergio Aguero and Lionel Messi have been superb teammates in the national team and they are very close pals.
According to the report on UK Sun, Sergio Aguero's agents have gotten the copy of the contract draft made by Barcelona chiefs and a review is currently being done on it.
The report added that the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United who are also interested in Sergio Aguero will have to look elsewhere to get their strikers.
Barcelona are also said to be tracking Borussia Dortmund striker Haaland as second option should they fail to land Sergio Aguero.
Meanwhile, Sergio Aguero and his teammates at Manchester City are in great position to win the Premier League title for this season with six games remaining to be played in English topflight.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Premier League club Manchester City are interested in signing Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku as a replacement for Sergio Aguero who is expected to depart at the end of the season.
City boss Pep Guardiola has said it is highly likely the club will buy another highly-rated striker to replace Sergio Aguero in the summer.
The Argentine has confirmed his exit from the Etihad Stadium at the end of this season - putting an end to his 10-year reign at the club.
And now they are looking at bringing in former Manchester United striker Lukaku who has been in blistering form this season.
City are on the lookout for a striker and have considered Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland as well.
