Pastor Called Out for Saying Wives Must Look Like Melania Trump So Their Husbands Don't Cheat

American Pastor Stewart-Allen Clark has been suspended for his sermon in which he told women that they need to be thin and pretty so their husbands don't cheat on them.

He berated women for letting themselves "go" after getting married and urged them to use, who he thought was the pinnacle of female beauty, Melania Trump as an example.

The video has since gone viral and was deleted from the 1st General Baptist Church of Malden's website according to CBS News.

He delivered the sermon in February and due to the backlash has taken leave since March 2, and also seeking professional counselling.

"I'm not saying every woman can be the epic - the epic – trophy wife of all time like Melania Trump," Clark said, as a photo of the former first lady appeared behind him on a screen. "Most women can't be trophy wives, but you know ... maybe you're a participation trophy."

Maroela Media also covered the story reported that he'd suggested that wives should be ok with the idea of being a trophy wife and that women need to be pretty and smell nice for their husbands.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Olori Naomi, the wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, got people laughing after a prayer she made for the king on her birthday, Thursday, April 15.

It happened during a small gathering held on her behalf, in a video shared online, Olori Noami who spotted a white and gold outfit knelt before the Ooni appreciating her husband for celebrating her.

With a microphone in her hand, the queen was heard saying that the king's houses, children, families, and every good thing will keep multiply. She also prayed that there will be more queens in the palace. The prayer got the king and the other people around him laughing.
