Fans of some celebrities have been known to promote hashtags and even fight dirty while defending their names on and off social media.
Legit.ng has put together some Nigerian celebrities whose fan bases do not tolerate nonsense.

Star boy is known for his silence on social media, he hardly interacts with fans or replies to posts or tweets targeted at him on social media.
However, despite his silence, his fans are always on standby to defend him once any slander comes up online.

They visibly pushed him on the show and even months after, they are still solidly behind him especially with his music.

Erica can not be messed with scot-free on social media, the elites are brutal, nasty and they go all out to fight for her when the need arises.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Mercy Eke got people talking on social media after a statement she made about her relationship with Ike.
In a video she shared on her Twitter page, the reality star was heard saying that she was done with the relationship and has moved on.
A number of Mercy's fans were disappointed by her statement as they recalled the times when they watched BBNaija stars' reality show on TV and hoped that their relationship would lead to the altar.
