United take a 2-0 advantage into the meeting, with a place in the semi-finals of the European competition at stake.

Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes were both on target during the first leg played at Los Carmenes, helping the side take a huge step towards reaching the last four.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have to get the job at Old Trafford without the services of a number of players who played a huge part in the away win in Spain.

Rashford, for instance, is already a major doubt for the return leg after he sat out training on Wednesday, April 14.

Defensive duo Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw are both suspended alongside Scott McTominay and will therefore not feature in this clash.

Dan James is facing a late fitness test, while Anthony Martial and Eric Bailly are both out.

As such, Solskjaer will have a lot to ponder on when selecting his squad as he eyes his first trophy as United manager.

David de Gea is expected to make a return in goal after he was rested vs Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka starting on the right.

Victor Lindelof could be partnered with Axel Tuanzebe at the heart of defence, with Alex Telles filling in the boots of Shaw on the left.

In midfield, Paul Pogba and Fred could be paired together, with Donny van de Beek slotting in for Bruno Fernandes who needs a rest.

Upfront, Edinson Cavani could be charged with the responsibility of leading the goal hunt as Mason Greenwood and James provide support.

Possible Man United starting X1 vs Granada:

Goalkeeper: De Gea

Defenders: Bissaka, Lindelof, Tuanzebe, Telles

Midfielders: Fred, Pogba, Van De Beek

Forwards: Greenwood, Cavani, James
