Japheth Omojuwa, a Nigerian blogger and social media activist has revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari was expected to appoint Oby Ezekwesili as a member of his cabinet after the 2015 election.

The social media influencer made this known via a letter dated Wednesday, April 14, which was written by his lawyer, Boonyameen Lawal of Babalakin & Co Legal Practitioners in response to a lawsuit filed against him by the former minister of education.

However, when the Nigerian leader assumed office he did not appoint the co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls movement as a member of his cabinet.

The blogger who said he has a 10-year relationship with the former minister beginning from 2012 described Ezekwesili as a benefactor

Omojuwa went on to note that his relationship with the BBOG co-convener has, however, deteriorated because he is no longer the “impressionable boy” who can be controlled to fight social media wars by proxy.

This development is coming after Ezekwesili threatened to sue Omojuwa for claiming she is a director of his company, Alpha Reach.

The former education minister had expressed shock saying she wasn't a director and demanded Omojuwa must produce a public apology.

Meanwhile, a presidential media aide, Bashir Ahmad, reacted to the development saying their client clearly wanted to be appointed as a cabinet member of President Buhari’s administration.
