Pastor Adeboye reveals intimate fact about Governor El-Rufai

During Pastor Enoch Adeboye's meeting with Nasir El-Rufai on Tuesday, April 13, he disclosed some personal facts about the Kaduna governor.

Adeboye's visit to the state's Government House came on the heels of the release of abducted members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Punch reports.

According to Daily Trust, in the visit, the famous cleric revealed that he has known the governor for a long time, adding that the latter is a kindhearted individual.

Pastor Adeboye said:

“We have known each other for years. I know the kind of person you are. I know you are tender-hearted.

"I know how you definitely must be feeling, particularly when the kidnappings are going on. When they begin to kidnap school children, I know how you must be feeling."

Earlier, El-Rufai had met Adeboye. A tweet by the Kaduna state government sighted by Legit.ng indicates that the meeting was held on Tuesday at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House in Kaduna.

While details of the meeting are yet to be released, Legit.ng notes that it came days after Pastor Adeboye disclosed that eight members of the church kidnapped in Kaduna had been released.

The prominent cleric had on Thursday, April 8, said all the eight kidnapped members of the church were taken to hospital for examination after they regained freedom.

He said:

''Today I got the exciting news that our brethren who were in captivity of kidnappers have all been released and taken to the Hospital for checkup and tests. Glory be to Jesus. We pray for lasting peace in all troubled regions of the country in Jesus name.’’
