He said:

"I have decided not to react because I believe I am bigger than them. Also, the more I react, the more copies they sell. I need not cry over spilt milk at this level."

Kosoko also addressed the issue of Nollywood stars being branded as philanderers. The actor noted that the movie industry has a high level of professionalism and discipline.

According to him, people only tend to make big deals out of the actions of movie stars. He, however, added that it doesn’t mean those in the industry do not date or get involved with one another.

"People tend to make noise out of everything we do as public figures. That is not to say we do not date or sleep with one another. The profession is a blessed one and people should please see the good side of our profession too."

On being a polygamist, Koso explained that it was never a route he planned for. He also noted that his parents were not comfortable with the idea.

The actor, however, explained that it was a piece of advice that came from his first wife at the time. He also noted that she was a businesswoman and he wanted someone in the same profession as him.

"I craved for somebody who was in the same field with me. In those days, the best advice you can get is from your better half and that was how the second woman came to be."

Explaining further, the actor said he was advised by those around him to get someone again after the loss of his first two wives.

"But after much persuasion from my doctor and relatives, I decided to have a woman with the agreement of not having more children but a complete African woman will not agree to that. One thing led to the other and I got two women again. So being a polygamist is not intentional but God’s design which I do not have a right over."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the actor shared different messages with Nigerians and colleagues amid the celebration of his 67th birthday.

Kosoko urged people to adhere to the coronavirus preventive measures as the pandemic is real. He also touched on the type of movies in Nollywood, noting that colleagues should embrace scientific storylines that drive impact.
