Senior Arsenal players have reportedly turned on Mikel Arteta for being blamed for the club's disappointing campaign this season.

Europa League, where they picked a 1-1 draw vs Slavia Prague in the first leg of their quarter-final tie is now their only hope of playing in Europe's elite competition next season.
The club's poor run of form has now seen a number of fans blame senior players for failing to step up their game to pick the necessary results according to SunSport.
A storm is now brewing within Arsenal's camp, with players blaming Arteta for painting a picture that it is them who are responsible for the club's slump.
SunSport reports the stars to contend it is the Spaniard tactician who should shoulder the responsibility for the club's poor results.
The publication added the players contend the tactician's move to respond by dropping big names the following week in the wake of disappointing results is giving the impression individual players are culpable.
The players are further understood to be questioning the former midfielder's management techniques and tactics, and now believe they could be contributing to Thomas Partey's slow start since his arrival from Atletico Madrid this season.
This is the first sign of cracks beginning to emerge within Arsenal's dressing room, 15 months after Arteta took over as manager.
Arsenal are scheduled to take on relegation-bound Sheffield United in their next fixture, in a match, they will be keen to bounce back to winning ways after their midweek draw against Slavia Prague.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Arsenal legend Paul Merson has slammed Mikel Arteta for his inability to compete for titles this season thereby comparing the Spaniard with Mourinho.
Merson's recent outburst comes days after the Gunners suffered an embarrassing defeat in the Premier League against Liverpool which sent them to 10th position on the table.
As things stand presently, Mikel Arteta and his wards have no chance of making the top four this season in the Premier League.
