Young Lady Showcases Her Hustle as a Shoemaker, Shares Beautiful Photos of Shoes and Palm Slippers She Made

A young lady has exhibited that there is dignity in labour and she is not ashamed of the job that puts food on her table.

The lady identified as Henrietta Henry shared on Linkedln that she is a shoemaker. Henrietta who had in previous posts on the platform referred to herself as a shoe surgeon said she makes corporate designer shoes.

The entrepreneur added that she is also in the business of crafting belts, wallets and palm slippers for men.

The hardworking lady shared a photo of herself in action.

Her post read:

"I'm a shoemaker and I make men cooperate designer shoes from scratch to finish, I also make palm slippers, wallets and belts for men.
"A genuine leather with your preferred colors and sizes.
"I plead to everyone to patronize me.
"Please kindly #share if you see this."

A look at her Linkedln wall showed she has a growing clientele and has a reputation of a kind as customers who have patronized her always return with good news.

It was stated on her Linkedln bio that she had bagged an award for her work as a shoemaker.

Henrietta told Legit.ng that what informed her decision to become a shoemaker was the thought of what she will engage in after school.

The indigene of Kogi state said she learnt to make shoes for two years in Lago state while in her penultimate year in school.

She was further encouraged to go into entrepreneurship by one of he lecturers who adviced her to take the risk.

"As a person I love doing something rare... So I took the initiative to go into shoemaking. It was though but I scale through. I was awarded one of the best shoemaker in my set because I gave it all my time and attention to be a successful shoemaker.
"I have great challenges which I am still fighting and hoping to get out of it soon.
"I'm from Kogi State but I based in Enugu state after my NYSC. I decided to stay back in Enugu for my business.
"It will amaze you that I make my shoes from the comfort of my house. I make shoes on demand. I have challenges getting a workshop and lots of equipment yet to buy.
"Shoemaking equipments are da*mn expensive, I'm yet to purchase all."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported a Lagos-based lady had showed off her handiwork as a barber on social media.

The lady named Anitha explained that she runs and owns her own shop which is located in Gbagada, Oshodi expressway in Lagos state. She also showcased her talent with photos of the works she has done before.

She wrote: "I own and run Kong’s cut barber’s Shop, It's located at 1st Pedro, (Charleyboy bus stop) by the Police station and also sits by the right side of Access bank, Gbagada Osh Expressway."
