A young man Oluwajuwonlo Afolabi has been celebrated on social media following his recent success in the academic world.
This is after he had taken to Linkedln platform on Thursday, April 8 to announce that he bagged a B.A (Ed) degree in Communication and Language Arts from the University of Ibadan, coming top of his class.
Afolabi stated that aside graduating top of a class of 198 students, he finished with a first class.
He recounted how he went through difficulty in the past, particularly how he lacked the financial means to purchase a JAMB form.
Save for assistance from three personalities he codenamed 'three wonderful persons' he may not have been where he is today, the African Leadership Institute scholar added.
Afolabi showered encomiums on his parents, siblings and all who supported him all through his undergraduate study.
His post read in part:
"After 8 semesters of a 4-year program, the University of Ibadan has awarded me a B.A (Ed) degree in Communication and Language Arts with FIRST CLASS HONOURS.
"This conferment which comes with graduating atop in a class of 198 students signifies excellence and the fulfillment of the promise of God.
"I am reminded of 2015 when I had no money to obtain a JAMB form. But, as God would have it, I was assisted financially by three people I codenamed “three wonderful persons”.

"I acknowledged their support at that crucial time in my final thesis which was a foundation of the success to come."
Many took to his comment section to celebrate with him. One user described him as a source of inspiration.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian man had graduated as the best student at the University of Cambridge.
The man identified as Malcolm Ebose graduated from the prestigious United Kingdom varsity with a first class in architecture.
Ebose also graduated as the best student in his class, making his achievement much greater. He graduated with the class of 2019.
The convocation had in attendance parents of the bright scholar.
