Toyin Lawani Shares Emotional Video from Burial of Her Father Shewu Olanrewaju Lawani

These are sad times for the family of Toyin Lawani following the death of their patriarch, Alhaji Shewu Olanrewaju Lawani.

The celebrity designer and stylist took to her Instagram page to share with her fans some moments from the burial ceremony which was done according to Islamic rites.

In the video, the corpse is brought of the hearse in a wooden carrier by four pallbearers dressed in white gowns and black & white turban scarfs.

The video captures the procession down to the moment Lawani's father is laid to the ground. The celebrity designer revealed that she had been running around since he passed and hadn't been able to sleep.

She also thanked her fans for their show of support.
