Italian Club to 'Reject Chelsea With Force' if They Try to Sign Their Striker This Summer

Italian giants Inter Milan will do everything to fend-off moves by Premier League club Chelsea to sign their in-form striker Romelu Lukaku this summer.
The 27-year-old has solely made the Italia Serie A his league - scoring with ease since he arrived from Manchester United in 2019.
Lukaku has registered 44 league goals in just 64 appearances for the Nerazzurri and has become an important member of Antonio Conte’s side.
His goals proved crucial as Inter are now on course to winning the Serie A - leading with 71 points, as their closest rival, AC Milan, are on 60.
Lukaku is now the talk of the Stamford Bridge as Chelsea are in the market to shop for a very clinical and experienced striker.
The Blues are on the trail of Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland as their major target, but in case they fail to land the wonderkid, Lukaku is next on the list.
Chelsea could offer in excess of €100 million for Lukaku but as per Calciomercato via SI, the feeling is that any type of assault will be rejected with force
Lukaku left Stamford Bridge back in 2014 after three years at the club but a return could be on the cards as Chelsea look for a new man to lead their line.
Meanwhile, reports also suggest that Man City are reportedly interested in signing Lukaku as a replacement for Sergio Aguero who is expected to depart at the end of the season.
City boss Pep Guardiola has said it is highly likely the club will buy another highly-rated striker to replace Sergio Aguero in the summer.
The Argentine has confirmed his exit from the Etihad Stadium at the end of this season - putting an end to his 10-year reign at the club.
