International business magazine, Forbes, has recognised a number of Nigerians in its recently released list of 100 Innovations, Inventions & Icons From Africa.
Top celebrities in the entertainment industry such as Wizkid, Mr Eazi, Funke Akindele, Davido, and Burna Boy were celebrated and recognised.
Nollywood filmmaker, Funke Akindele has taken to Instagram to acknowledge her mention on the list.
The thespian shared a photo of the page where she was featured and said that the list was brought to her attention by someone as she had been writing and filming back to back.

Akindele also expressed how honoured she was to have made the global list.
She wrote:

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Funke Akindele took to social media via her Instagram page to explain how hard she worked in the making of her popular movie, Omo Ghetto.
She shared a photo that was taken on the movie set and said that she worked like a machine on the project.
Explaining further, Akindele revealed she worked as an actress, a director, a producer and also ensured everything went on as planned.
