One Babangida Sadiq Adamu’s love life recently made headlines on social media after he got married to two women on the same day.
The young man has now spoken in a recent interview with BBC Pidgin on what informed his decision and how he is enjoying the union.
According to Adamu, he is enjoying more benefits than a man who has just one wife. He added that everything he gets from his marriage is double double.
He made things official with his brides on March 7, 2021, in Abuja, and friends also took to social media to celebrate him ahead of the union.
The APC youth leader revealed that him getting married to two ladies on the same day was informed by a verse in the Quran that encourages men who can afford it to marry two or three or four and treat them well and equally.

One of his wives, Maryam Mohammed, is a 28-year-old graduate of Business Administration. She admitted to feeling some type of way after her man informed her about his plan to marry someone else alongside her.
His second wife, 26-year-old Memuna Mahmoud, a graduate of Economics, also shared the same sentiments but they both agreed to Adamu’s proposal because of the love they have for him and their religion supports it.
Speaking further, Adamu advised men to get married to two women because it would reduce the problems that come with side chicks.
