I found out that Alex had gone behind my back and done something. And I found out it wasn’t the first time. And that’s why we’re here. I trusted Alex. I feel betrayed, but ultimately she was my best friend and that doesn’t change overnight.
As a result, the two best friends stopped recording episodes together and parted ways. Later on, Portnoy offered Alexandra and Sofia a pay of $500,000 each and intellectual property for the show to get them back.
While Alex was open to negotiations with Barstool Sports founder, her friend refused to take the offer. These days, Alex Cooper continues to host the podcast.
