Nigerians on social media have blasted singer/songwriter, Seyi Shay, over her comments about a 17-year-old upcoming singer, Ayo, which many considered mean and harsh.
Seyi Shay who is one of three judges - and the only female - at the ongoing Nigerian Idol, passed her judgement after Ayo sang for them, rejecting his performance as worthy of getting a Golden Ticket.

Ayo who had suffered a bad case of the nerves got three Nos from the judges, with Seyi Shay adding that he would never make money being a musician.
