Advice for 2023? Get a Trustworthy Hausa or Fulani Interpreter: Ex-PDP Senator to Tinubu

Perhaps ahead of the 2023 presidential election, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been given cogent advice.
In a tweet celebrating Tinubu on his 69th birthday, a former senator who represented Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, called on the APC stalwart to look for someone he can really trust to help him interpret Hausa or Fulfulde, the language of the Fulani people.
Sani also described the former Lagos state governor not just as a phenomenal politician, but also a democrat who was very instrumental to the restoration of democracy in Nigeria.
His tweet read:
"Happy 69th Birthday to Asiwaju.He is a phenomenal politician and a democrat who played an outstanding role in the struggle for the restoration of democracy in Nigeria.
"My advice: get Someone you trusted to always translate to you what is said in Hausa and Fulfulde."
Meanwhile, serving speakers and their predecessors from the northwest zone of Nigeria had declared their support for Tinubu as the successor to President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
Their declarations and promises are coming some weeks after a similar endorsement of Tinubu was carried out by their colleagues in the southwestern zone of Nigeria.
At a meeting held in Kano for the states in the northwestern zone on Friday, March 26, the lawmakers declared that Tinubu remained the right person for the presidential ticket of the ruling APC at the moment throughout the country.

Some of them argued that with the challenges faced by the country, citizens deserved a leader who was detribalised and had shown over time that he had the capacity to lead the masses.
