Marcus Rashford is on the hunt for a delightful 9-year-old boy, who went out of his way to buy his friend a new pair of boots.

The Manchester United forward was left impressed by one youngster from Bolton, who used up his savings to put a smile on his friend’s face in the form of new football boots.

According to Itv.com via Tuko, the football-mad youngster noticed his friend had been playing in trainers after his football boots ripped during a PE session.

The young lad, Xavier, led his dad to know about his school friend Eric’s situation and this prompted some truly remarkable action afterwards.

"Eric's boots were getting more and more damaged and tatty each week until they finally ripped altogether and the following week he came wearing his school PE pumps." The dad Jason told M.E.N's Manchester Family.
"He got a few comments from other kids asking why he's wearing them and not football trainers."

Jason continued to narrate how Xavier asked him whether he could go ahead and purchase new boots for his friend and who was him to say no?

"Xavier then asked me if he could buy some new boots for Eric with the money he has been saving up at his Grandma's over the past few weeks, because he didn't think it was fair that Eric didn't have any boots when all the other kids did - and he knew that he would make him happy by buying him some,” he continued.
