American singer Beyonce’s Black Is King project was no doubt widely accepted all over the world and one of the tracks, Brown Skin Girl, became a sort of anthem for the beauty of black excellence.
Well, this has been greatly satisfying for the artistes involved, seeing as Brown Skin Girl has gone on to win awards.
Just recently, Beyonce, Wizkid, Blue Ivy and SAINt JHN were celebrated after Brown Skin Girl won the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) Image Award for Best Music Video/Visual Album.

This big win for Beyonce, Wizkid, Blue Ivy and SAINt JHN is coming after Brown Skin Girl bagged the Best Video Award at the 2021 Grammys.
While it was Wizkid's first ever Grammy win, it was the 28th time Beyonce would be taking the plaque home.
The US superstar broke the record for all-time wins by a woman and any singer (male or female) with 28 Grammy Awards when she bagged the best R&B performance for Black Parade.
