Nigerian sensation Asisat Oshoala scored in Barcelona’s 3-0 victory over Barcelona Ladies in the UEFA women’s Champions League competition on Wednesday, March 24.
The Catalan giants take a giant first-leg win in the quarter-final, but it is not yet over as they need to prevent the Citizens from responding when they face-off in the return leg.
And it was Oshoala who opened the scoring in style in the 35th minute with a milestone strike to make it the club’s 100th goal of the competition.
Mariona Caldentey made it 2-0 from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute before Jennifer Hermoso wrapped it up in style with a late goal four minutes from time to make it 3-0.

The reverse fixture will take place in England on March 31 and City will now have a herculean task in their bid to overturn the first-leg loss.
Recall that Oshoala was also on the score sheet as they defeated Rayo Vallecano 4-0 away on Saturday, March 20, in the Spanish Iberdrola League.
The Super Falcons captain scored Barcelona's second in the 31st minute after Ana Crnogorcevic had opened the scoring in the 15th minute.
Two second-half goals from Kheira Hamraoui and Lieke Martens completed the rout as Barcelona recorded their 20th win of the league season.
The victory saw Barcelona maintain their position at the top of the league as they have recorded 20 wins in 20 games in the league.
Their impeccable form has seen them score 99 goals in the process as they remain unbeaten in the Spanish Iberdrola.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the mood in the Super Eagles camp changed drastically since the arrival of Leicester City hero Kelechi Iheanacho who joined his team-mate on Tuesday afternoon, March 23.
Kelechi who is becoming famous for his ‘Senior man Kelz’ nickname arrived in Lagos three days after firing Leicester City into the semi-final of the English FA Cup.
The Super Eagles will take on the Squirrels of Benin on Saturday, March 27, before playing host to Lesotho on March 30 at the Teslim Balogun.
