Many times, humans are unaware of the things they are capable of until they go through life-changing experiences.
That appears to be the case with Nigerian-American star, Kechi Okwuchi, who experienced something that not many people got to survive and later tell the story.
On December 10, 2005, she was involved in the ill-fated Sosoliso plane crash that claimed hundreds of lives. Kechi was one of the two survivors.

Now, after almost 16 years of multiple surgeries and medical procedures, Kechi has gone on to become a beacon of light to so many people who use her story to preach positivity.
The 31-year-old made so many Nigerians proud after she participated in America’s Got Talent and finished as a finalist in 2017.
Kechi has been known to take to her Instagram page to proudly show off her scars. According to her, there is beauty in it.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that Kechi took to social media to celebrate after she was finally able to wear a pair of earrings.
Kechi who survived the Sosoliso plane crash in 2005 lost her earlobes as a result of the accident and had been unable to wear earrings ever since. However, luck shone on her when she received a new pair from her mom and tried her best to make it stay on her ear and was delighted when it did.
