In one of her theoretical course, she recounted, how a senior council tagged reading for a PhD in law as useless.

Ndatega said she was criticized for the way she dressed and unknown to them, she lacked the means to upgrade her wardrobe with corporate attires.

Now, she has topped her call to the High Court success with acquiring the PhD in law.

Her post read in part:

"During one of my theoretical courses that I had to attend, a senior counsel made a comment that having a PhD in law is useless. I felt attacked and felt the urge to react, but being a University lecturer and having the majority of my students in the same class, I chose not to.
"I pursued it anyway. Last week, I was admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the High Court of Namibia with a B Juris, LLB (Hons), LLM and LLD in the bag. Lesson: Believe in yourself and do what you want to do!"
