Nigerian footballer Odion Ighalo was spotted in a gym sweating-it-out with the punching-bag in a bid to remain fit for his new club Al Shabab of Saudi Arabia.
The former Super Eagles striker completed his loan deal at Premier League giants Manchester United in February and left due to lack of active playing time.
Ighalo joined Saudi Arabian side Al Shabab on a permanent deal in February, as the Saudi Arabian side took to their official social media page to confirm the arrival of the Nigerian football legend who won golden boot at 2019 African Cup of Nations.
Al Shabab stated clearly that the former Osun United striker signed a two and a half year deal with them with option of him increasing the deal subsequently.
He has since settled at the club having recently posted a picture of himself clad white attire with his head covered like a Muslim who just completed Holy Pilgrimage.
Since the former Watford man arrived, he has been impressive for his new club who are currently on top of the Pro League standings.
He grabbed his first brace for the club in their win over Damac.
And he was seen with team-mates in the gym sweating it out just to remain in shape as they set their eyes on the title.
Footage of the session shows Ighalo hitting the punching-bag hard, as the Nigerian is desperate to win laurels at the club.
Meanwhile, former Super Eagles winger Victor Moses increased his Russian League goal tally to two after scoring in Spartak Moscow derby victory over Dynamo Moscow earlier this weekend.
The Nigeria international fired home from close range after running into space to connect with a through pass from Aleksandr Sobolev on the half-hour mark.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Nigerian international Henry Onyekuru came off the bench to grab two goals helping Galatasaray to a 3-0 win over Kayserispor and stay in the hunt for the Turkish championship.
The on-loan AS Monaco star scored his side’s second goal of the encounter in the 81st minute before sealing the victory with another strike right on stoppage-time.
The away win means Galatasaray keep their title hopes alive as they inch closer to league leaders Besiktas reducing their lead to just two points.
