Argentine striker Sergio Aguero was reportedly livid on Tuesday night, March 16, and left the pitch complaining about his teammates not passing to him in their Champions League win over Borussia Moenchengladbach.
Manchester City were superb in the encounter at the Etihad winning the clash 2-0 against Borussia Moenchengladbach which sent the Citizens to the Champions League last 8.
Sergio Aguero did not start the match against Borussia Moenchengladbach as Pep Guardiola only introduced him in the 75th minute as replacement for Bernardo Silva.
But before the introduction of the Argentine, Kevin De Bruyne and Gundogan had given Manchester City two-goal lead at the Etihad stadium.
Aguero was unable to register his name on the scorers' sheet for the Champions League encounter as the tie ended in favour of the Premier League leaders.
According to report on Sportbible, the Argentinean expressed his displeasure about not receiving the ball in the Champions League match.
He is said to have confided in a member of the club's backroom staff as he trudged off the pitch.
With 30 games played already this term, Manchester City are still topping the Premier League table and have the chance to win the title this season.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how impressive Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero was branded the best foreign player to have ever featured in the English Premier League.
This is according to The Sun’s Neil Custis who stated that the Argentine striker is ahead other foreign players including Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry and Luis Suarez.
He branded the 32-year-old City forward as the "most instinctive goalscorer that plays in this country."
Aguero arrived at City from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and has played an instrumental role in their modern success.
The Argentina international has become City's record scorer and his goalscoring exploits rank him as the fourth-highest goalscorer in Premier League history.
