Nigerian OAP, N6, has weighed in on the social media buzz surrounding Pete Edochie's recent interview in which he advised women on how to handle their cheating husbands.

Following the online outrage that trailed the video, N6 in a series of Instagram stories, blasted journalists interviewing the Nollywood veteran on matters of the modern-day world.

According to the OAP, such journalists are a disgrace to the profession. N6 opined that Edochie who is well into his 70s simply gave his opinion based on his own life experiences.

Addressing people blasting the prolific actor, N6 pointed out that most of them have parents who share the same ideology so the fuss is unnecessary.

He also accused the journalists of trying to 'debase and downgrade' Edochie's legacy as a renowned actor.

The OAP wrote:

"You guys should be asking him about the foundations of Nollywood, advice and forgotten secrets to excelling in the Naija movie industry etc."

N6 went on to point out that the Things Fall Apart legend was neither a marriage counsellor nor a social therapist hence the need to stop asking him questions outside his scope of expertise in a bid to 'set him up for public ridicule'.

Recall earlier, Pete Edochie advised women on how to handle cheating husbands.

In a video shared on his page, the actor pointed out that women who abandoned their homes due to their husband's philandering ways were only copying white women who are fond of going through several marriages.

Giving a scenario of when a woman suspected that her man was stepping out to cheat, the actor advised such women to put condoms in their husbands' bag which he stated would make them have a change of heart.
