These are sad times for the family of Shina Peller as they recently lost a member - Bimbo Peller, who is the lawmaker's sister.

On March 16, 2021, the Nigerian lawmaker and entrepreneur took to his Instagram page to break the news to his fans.

Sharing photos of his late sister aged 50, Peller revealed that she passed away in London as he called on his fans to pray for her soul instead of trying to reach out to him.

He wrote:

"Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. May Almighty Allah be merciful to my beloved sister @bimbopeller who passed away in London. It is the will of Allah and I appreciate those who sympathize with us. I appeal that we pray for her soul instead of calling or messaging me. May Allah forgive her for all her sins and grant her eternal rest. Amin yarobi."

Peller is the House of Representatives member for Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola federal constituency.

Bimbo's death comes two months after she marked her 50th birthday. On January 7, Peller had taken to his Instagram page to celebrate her on her new age.

A month ago, popular Nigerian Afrojazz singer, Yinka Davies, lost her son, Jeremiah, who passed away at the age of 27.

According to the report, Jeremiah died on Saturday, January 29, 2021, after months of battling with Autoimmune blood tissue disorder.

The singer shared news of his passing in a post which she used to thank the people who had been there for him during his lifetime up until his illness and death.
