In a recent tweet, the actor who has continued to push for youths to be given a chance in public offices, stated that he would be the best president Nigeria has ever had.

In his words:

Famous Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has been endorsed by his father, Pete Edochie (who is a veteran in the movie industry) to run for the 2023 presidential election.

Yul revealed his father's full support for his presidential ambition on his Instagram page on Thursday, February 12.

In the less-than-three-minute video, Pete confirmed his position:

"My Father Chief Pete Edochie endorses my 2023 Presidential ambition. God Almighty, take absolute control."

Recall in 2018, Yul who has been active in politics for a long while said he made the decision to step down from his 2019 presidential bid after proper considerations and consultations.

Before taking a plunge at the federal level, the politician had earlier joined the gubernatorial race for Anambra state which was held in 2017. He contested for the post via the platform of the Democratic People’s Congress (DPC).
