Award-winning Beninese singer, Angelique Kidjo, has taken to social media to welcome Burna Boy to the club of Grammy winners.

Recall earlier, Legit.ng reported the news of how Burna Bot emerged winner in the Best Global Album category for his album, Twice As Tall.

Well, in a recent Instagram post, Angelique - a 4-time Grammy award singer - shared a photo with Burna Boy and accompanied it with a congratulatory message.

Recall in 2020, Angélique Kidjo emerged as the winner of the 2020 Grammy Award for Best World Music for her album Celia.

This made it the 4th time the Beninese and African legend was taking home an award at the coveted award show.

According to reports, she has been nominated nine times at the Grammy Awards. Much to the disappointment of many Nigerian music lovers, she beat Burna Boy and other artistes in the category.

Meanwhile, Burna Boy, is currently reeling in excitement over his first-ever Grammy award win.

A video shared on @olorisupergal shows the singer dancing and spraying some money around, surrounded by his crew and people singing his praises.

However, things got interesting on social media as another video of the singer with an unidentified guy surfaced online in which he threw shade at Davido.
