South African-born comedian Trevor Noah hosted the 63rd annual Grammy Awards held on Sunday, 14 March.

This was the first time that the host of The Daily Show took on the role of presenting the world’s most prestigious music event. His debut was a big success if reactions online are anything to go by.

During his monologue, Noah cracked a few jokes and concluded by saying:

Meanwhile Legit.ng previously reported that Trevor Noah has bought a new house for the whopping amount of $27.5 million.

The 36-year-old South African comedian purchased the Bel-Air mansion after a Los Angeles architect named Mark Rios designed and built it for himself.

The massive home features six bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. Luxuries including an infinity pool, a screening room, a spa and steam room, and a rooftop area for entertaining.

Legit.ng had reported that South African comedian and host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah, has reportedly sold his Los Angeles home for $21.7 million.

Variety.com reported that Trevor had sold his mansion in LA's Bel Air neighbourhood just two years after first purchasing it in 2018. According to the publication, the house itself is around 10 000 square feet (roughly 900 square metres) and boasted five bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
