Real Madrid came back from a goal down to defeat Elche by 2-1 in a la Liga match played at the Alfred di stefano stadium in Madrid.
Karime benzema scored two late goals to put Los Blancos back in the title race after falling behind to a goal netted by Dani Calvo.

Benzema, Isco and Casimero failed to take full advantage of the chances created in the first 45 minutes.
Los Merengues were made to pay as a minute after the hour mark, Elche spectacularly got their noses in front courtesy of a brilliant header from Calvo via a corner-kick.
It seemed to be one of those nights for Real as the chances came begging but the Spanish champions failed to convert.
Rodryo, Toni Kroos and Luka Modrfic were introduced into the game as their atttacling threat became more promising.
Benzema finally equalized in the 73rd minute after finishing off brilliantly from a Modric's assist to make it 1-1.
The White then came out in search for the winner as it finally paid off in the 91st minute when Benzema slammed home a chested pass from Rodrygo.
The match ended 2-1 in favour for Real Madrid as they continue their fight to defend their La Liga title this campaign.
