Impressive Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been branded the best foreign player to have ever featured in the English Premier League.
This is according to The Sun’s Neil Custis who stated that the Argentine striker is ahead other foreign players including Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry and Luis Suarez.
He branded the 32-year-old City forward as the "most instinctive goalscorer that plays in this country."
Speaking on talkSPORT, Custis said:
"If I was a manager of a football team and I had Aguero, I'd play him on one leg never mind when he's nearly fit.
"He's the best foreign player ever to play in the Premier League.
"He's the most instinctive goalscorer that plays in this country and offers so much to Man City now."
Aguero arrived at City from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and has played an instrumental role in their modern success.
The Argentina international has become City's record scorer and his goalscoring exploits rank him as the fourth-highest goalscorer in Premier League history.
Spanish club Barcelona are reportedly looking to launch a bid for him as negotiations with Lionel Messi continues.
With the election of Joan Laporta as the new president of the club, Barcelona’s chances of getting Messi to extend his contract has improved.
The Argentine has been at the club since the age of 15 and reports say the player also voted Laporta who has also promised he would ensure Messi does not leave if he is elected.
Joan Laporta became the cub's president for a second time after sweeping more than half of the votes in the recently held elections.
However, there are no guarantees yet that the outcome of the election would secure Messi's future at the Camp Nou.

Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and Juventus are also interested in signing the Argentine whose contract is set to expire at the end of the season. The 32-year-old is destined to leave the Etihad unless fully shakes off doubts over his fitness and sharpness.
And it is understood that City's record goal scorer would accept lower wages begin life at Nou Camp.
