Barry Jhay's sister clears the air about singer's alleged involvement in Kashy's death

The Nigerian social media was recently abuzz with accusations and counter accusations following news that record label boss, Kashy, had died and his signee, Barry Jhay, was implicated in it.

In a new interview with BBC Yoruba, the singer’s family has finally publicly reacted to the tragedy. Barry Jhay’s sister revealed in the interview that her brother had no hand in his manager’s death.

The sister said she learnt Kashy was dealing with some problems before his demise and that she first got wind of her brother’s clash with the singer after sighting a video he made of his mouth bleeding after their fight.

The lady said that her brother was only tied to Kashy’s death because he was also in Ghana and that he wasn’t even present at the location when the tragedy occurred.

Barry’s sister said that the family had hopes that the situation will be well investigated in Ghana because they had a good system.

Further in the interview, the lady said that she wanted to make it known that her brother had no hand in anybody’s death and that she hoped God would deliver him from the situation.

She added that Barry Jhay had great love for Kashy and that anybody who knew them together knew this.

The singer’s sister also added that they had already gotten a lawyer for Barry Jhay and that some family members were also with him in Ghana.

Speaking about the fight between Barry and Kashy before his death, she said that friends were bound to have disagreements and that they were great friends before the tragedy.

The lady added that their friendship was very clear by their displays on social media and if there was bad blood between them, Barry wouldn’t have gone to Ghana in the first place. She added that Kashy had even gifted the singer very expensive wristwatch just days before the tragedy.
