Abenah Serwaah Mankosa, a class one teacher at the Aninkroma D/A Primary School in Adankwame District in the Ashanti Region, is touching the lives of her pupils in a positive light.

Serwaah Mankosa has been providing her deprived pupils with hot meals every day from her meager resources and through the benevolence of her friends on social media.

The kind-hearted female teacher indicated that the food provided to the students through the Akufo-Addo-led government School Feeding Policy is insufficient, she said in a Facebook post.

As a result, Serwaah Mankosa has been providing her class one pupils with different nutritious hot meals from her purse to supplement the food provided by the government.

Serwaah Mankosa compared the food provided by the government to the meal she gives to her students, indicating that she provides them boiled eggs, fried ripe plantain, and sachet water.

''I had 2 new admissions today, two pupils dropped from a car to Syto. Imagine if the government takes good care of these schools, will a Ghanaian kid pay 1000 dollars for tuition in a private school, I love them to the brim. God bless all our homeland Ghana,'' she wrote o Facebook.

The struggling female teacher who is appealing for support shared the inspiring message along with amazing photos of the kids served the hot meals in neat plastic bowls.
