Piers Morgan receives complaint from Meghan Markle over his comments about her interview with Oprah

British media personality, Piers Morgan, made a series of comments over Meghan Markle's claims about her and the royal family.
In retaliation, Markle filed a formal complaint against the former Good Morning Britain host. Morgan quit hosting the popular morning talk show on Tuesday following increasing pressure over his comments.
After Markle and Prince Harry's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey dropped, Morgan made a series of comments which sparked a fierce backlash.
The British broadcasting regulator Ofcom received 41,000 complaints as Morgan had said that he did not believe Markle was being truthful during her interview with Winfrey.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Markle filed a formal complaint to ITV. In the interview with Oprah, Markle had said that her mental health had suffered and in her complaint said that Morgan's comments might affect people battling with their own mental health issues.
Following a row over remarks Piers made about the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, he quit ITV's Good Morning Britain show, marking the conclusion of the controversial host's six-year tenure on the morning show.

ITV made the announcement after Ofcom revealed it was looking into his remarks after receiving 41,000 complaints.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Celia, much like her husband Piers Morgan, is of the opinion that Meghan Markle was not sincere when she opened up about the struggles she faced while being a royal.
Since the interview aired, the expecting mother has left the internet divided with half of the world, like the Morgan's, convinced that Markle was putting on a show for TV and the other half sympathising with her.
